Shortlisted for TOPRA Awards for Regulatory Excellence - Futures Category
17/11/2014
Greer Deal, Director of Global Regulatory Services (GRS), is delighted to be shortlisted for the TOPRA Futures Award especially because the Award is so relevant to GRS and the company strap line "driving innovation to market success".
"I'm so surprised and incredibly flattered to have been shortlisted for this award but I didn't get here on my own" says Greer Deal "GRS has the most amazing team of regulatory professionals who are fantastic ambassadors for both GRS and the regulatory profession. I must also thank my husband for his unwavering support and for finally persuading me to join him in setting up GRS in the first place!"
The Futures Category acknowledges the role of regulatory scientists in realising the potential of cutting edge technologies, such as those involving medical devices, advanced therapies and innovative medicines and their delivery systems. Such advances help bring innovative treatments to patients faster by embracing Scientific Advice and combining a flexible and professional approach to certification and licensing with excellence in quality management and benefit-risk assessment. This Award focuses on new products and innovative technologies that provide a significant advance in healthcare techniques and improve the delivery and efficacy of existing therapies.
The winners will be announced at the TOPRA Awards Gala Dinner at the Royal College of Surgeons, London, on Tuesday 9 December 2014.
