'Pitch' at "Meet Cambridge Network" event, 3 July 2013

I was delighted to be asked to speak for a few minutes at this event about Global Regulatory Services' (GRS) membership to the Cambridge Network. GRS has been a member since the company was officially launched in May 2008 and we've always found the Cambridge Network team to be so supportive and informative.
The networking events which GRS representatives have attended have either been directly relevant or let's say "unusual". For example there was one event where, if you wanted, you could go up in a glider! Whatever the event is you can guarantee that it will be useful or fun or both!
So why have I decided to write a blog about this particular event?
Well, it's because I made a classic oversight. I stood up and did my 'pitch'. I enthused about the support GRS had gained from the Network and how wonderful all the staff were but I forgot one key message. Okay, so you've probably guessed it already. Yes, I forgot to introduce GRS, I forgot our own 'pitch'!
Some of you may think "so what? more fool you" or words along those lines. But the reason I'm highlighting it here is:
