Press Release: GRS to ‘Introduce’ Regulations to One Nucleus Membership
10/11/2013
4 November 2013 – Cambridge, UK: Global Regulatory Services (GRS) is now a Partner of One Nucleus. Through an innovative collaboration under the One Nucleus Partner Programme, GRS will be delivering a new training course during 2014 entitled “An Introduction to Regulation in New Medicines and Healthcare Products”. The course content will be developed and delivered by GRS, enabling One Nucleus members to provide their staff with a firm understanding of the core business. Currently this is ‘work in progress’ although it is anticipated that there will be at least 4 one day workshops and from these there will be ‘spin-off’ events providing more detail on niche areas of the Life Sciences.
“We really want to deliver training which One Nucleus members want and see value in so it’ll be great if members could provide us with their ‘wish lists’ whilst we are in the developmental stage. And, of course, we’d welcome lots of feedback after the launch event – all of us can learn from the experience!” said Greer Deal, Director of GRS “we also want to deliver the message: “address your regulatory strategy earlier to increase your chance of success”. Too often, regulatory considerations are left far too late in a product’s development and, from our experience, we invariably have to unpick a lot of the work or even have to start all over again – a somewhat costly exercise! By providing people with an understanding of the role and impact of regulations, I’m hopeful that they will realise the importance of a regulatory strategy earlier in the day thereby reducing costs and time to market.”
